WHAT’S NEW AND UPCOMING ON THE FARM

We have Turkey Eggs. Special thanks to Millbrook Farms in Armstrong for a half dozen Ridley Bronze eggs to go with ours. Hoping for a hatch around May 8th.

We are expecting our first hatch of Chickens around May 7th. This batch is a mix of White Chanteclers, Partridge Chanteclers and Barred Rocks. 

Our Painted Desert Hair Sheep and our American Blackbelly sheep are due to lamb around May 8th. 

Our Berkshire Sow had her first litter and we have 4 Berkshire piglets. We also have 5 Berkshire crosses. We will post updates as the processing dates get closer.

We have a Dexter/Lowline bull calf and 2 Dexter Heifer calves, along with 3 yearling Dexter Heifers and a Dexter/Lowline Heifer. The first will be going for processing in the late fall. We also recently acquired 2 cow/calf pairs. One mother is a Shorthorn, the other is a Dexter/Angus cross.
